Cannes is giving away 900 places for Midem Festival to Cannes residents


If you are a resident of Cannes you could win tickets for the Midem Festival which are taking place between 28–30 January.

The city of Cannes has 900 places to give away for the 2012 edition the Midem Festival – the public’s opportunity to enjoy part of the largest international music and music publishing trade fair : Marché International du Disque & de l’Edition Musicale – Midem.

The Midem Festival takes place in a 4 000-seat marquee, the Chapiteau, and other venues around Cannes and this year is featuring Selah Sue, Skip The Use, Imany, 2ManyDJs, The Ting Tings, as well as Shaka Ponk, Deborah Charles, Brigitte and Orelsan.  The cost is €33 euros per night or €75 for the three nights.

Also up for grabs are places for Midem Classique as well as NRJ’s famous 13th Music Award ceremony which goes out direct on TF1 on Saturday 28 January, with amongst others : Coldplay, Justin Bieber, Mika, LMFAO and Mylène Farmer.

To be entered in the draw, which takes place in front of a huissier on 26 January at 14:00, you must take proof of your identity and residency of Cannes to the yellow room – Salon Jaune – of the Hôtel de Ville in Cannes or either of the mairies annexes in La Bocca and Ranguin between now and 25 January, weekdays only, between 09:00 & 19:00.


Coldplay, who are nominated for 2012 Brit Awards, are in concert at the Stade Charles Erhmann in Nice on 22 May 2012.
