Ânes de Blore – hikes / treks through the Mercantour accompanied by pack donkeys


It’s hiking but not as we know it : let the donkey do the donkey-work !

Experience the Mercantour unencumbered with Ânes de Blore : the donkeys of Blore. Pédro, Ponpon, Picotin, Basile and the others await your arrival to go and explore the Southern Alps. Their agile hooves are tailored to the mountain paths, allowing you to discover the Mercantour’s magnificent scenery in complete serenity.

The Discovery Walk

A taster to tempt you further afield – this short walk starts at the donkey stables and allows you to explore the village outskirts while trying out the donkey itself.  The circuit takes half a day or can be extended to last a full one.
    

Hike, Trek

Head off on a more thorough exploration of the Mercantour lasting from two to seven days and spend your nights under canvas. Possible destinations : the Millefonts lake region, the hamlet of Mollières and even … Italy !


PRICES :

• €25 : 1h30
• €30 :  Half day
• €45 :  Full day
• €40 :  Each additional day

These prices include the hire of a donkey with packsaddles, panniers, halter and brush. The animals are placed in the care of a responsible adult who has civil liability insurance for each member of his / her group.

Twice a year there is a transhumance and during June & September there are Les Randonailles – two different itineraries of walk, spending two nights under canvas.

BY CAR : from autoroute A8, exit 52 Nice St. Isidore – D6202 direction Digne Grenoble.  Right exit off the La Mescla roundabout – D2205. After La Bolinette, right turn – D2565
Past La Bolline, La Roche, arriving at St Dalmas, turn right just before the bridge (follow the signs Rando Ânes).
