Description:

La Canal is a beautiful large Bastide, built in 1760 as a silkworm farm.

Set in a 2 ½ acre mature walled garden on the edge of the medieval village of Lorgues in the heart of Provence.  Ancient Mulberry trees shade the terrace in front of the house from which are wonderful views to the distant hills.

The house is built on 3 floors and has been painstakingly restored by its owner.  Inside, it is comfortably furnished throughout with antique furniture and rugs.

The magnificent swimming pool converted from an ancient ‘bassin’ is tucked away in a secluded part of the garden.

House : 6 Bedrooms, 4 bathrooms, drawing room, sitting room, dining room, kitchen and laundry room arranged as follows :

• Sitting room : with fireplace, TV, video, stereo and board games

Table tennis and boules are available.  A well equipped summer kitchen and gas barbecue.
